ART SPIEGELMAN TO VISIT SCAD-ATLANTA

Art Spiegelman will be giving a lecture on February 5th at 7:30pm on the Atlanta campus. Spiegelman is best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel memoir, Maus.

JOHN LOWE, COLLEGE-LEVEL SEQUENTIAL ART CLASSES IN USA TODAY

Department chair, John Lowe was recently quoted by USA Today in an article about the growing number of sequential art courses being offered at institutions of higher learning throught the U.S.

COLEMAN ENGLE IN IMAGE’S POPGUN

Sophomore Coleman Engle contributed a story to the Image Comics anthology Popgun, a hefty 400+ page original graphic novel featuring big name creators doing material they’re not known for, new creators the world needs to hear about, and rare comics that may have gone otherwise forgotten.
