CAF XVI: Schedule

It’s Fall Quarter, which means that the Comics Art Forum (CAF) is coming! The weekend spans from October 22nd-24th, and brings in industry professionals including alumni and returning guests. These events are not open to the public.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Thursday October 22:
6:00-7:30pm - Panel Discussion
American Legion, 2nd Floor
1108 Bull St, Savannah, GA
Visiting artists will sit down and discuss their experiences, the comic industry, and their artistic process. A Q&A will follow, beginning with pre-screened common questions asked by students, and if time permits the panel will open to the floor. This event is open to all SCAD students regardless of major, and Sequential Art students are highly encouraged to attend.

Friday October 23:
10:00am-1:00pm - Workshop #1
Norris Hall
Visiting professionals will teach a workshop of his/her choosing. Space is limited, and sign-ups will become available to SCAD students in Norris Hall.

2:30pm-5:00pm - One-on-One Student Portfolio Reviews
Norris Hall
Students will have the chance to meet professionals and present to them a working portfolio. Space is limited, and sign-ups will become available to SCAD students in Norris Hall.

Saturday October 24:
11:00am-2:00pm  Workshop #2
Norris Hall
Visiting professionals will teach a workshop of his/her choosing. Space is limited, and sign-ups will become available to SCAD students in Norris Hall.
