Jonathan Hill: Americus

SCAD Sequential Art Alumnus Jonathan Hill has illustrated great new book out that’s getting a lot of attention!

When the popular fantasy series Chronicles of Apathea Ravenchilde is under threat of being banned at the Americus Public Library, young Neal Barton leads the charge to defend his favorite book.

The first chapter of Americus was published in the acclaimed anthology Papercutter (No. 7), subsequently earning an Ignatz Award Nomination in 2008.

You might recognize Hill’s work from Little Moments, one of the first SEQA department anthologies (a few are still floating around Norris Hall in Savannah).

Hill graduated as valedictorian of the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2003 with a degree in Sequential Art.
